BLUF: "If you’re serious about stepping up, put $99 down to lock in your spot. You’ll get it back if we don’t pick you—unless you ghost us, quit, or act like a jackass. In that case, you’re paying for the inconvenience."

The $99 bond demonstrates your commitment to the program and holds your spot in the application process. It allows us to focus on selecting the most qualified and motivated participants while also covering the significant upfront investments required to onboard members and prepare for the program’s events.

Here’s how it works:

• Commitment: The bond deters frivolous applications and ensures fairness for all applicants. It also maintains the program’s exclusivity and high standards.
• Fairness: If you are not selected, your bond will be refunded in full, plus a $5 token of appreciation for your time ($104 total). If you withdraw during the second step of the application process (before final decisions are made), your bond will be reimbursed minus a 10% processing fee ($89 returned).
• Investment in You: Securing your spot involves upfront costs for personalized equipment, gear, and onboarding resources, which are custom-ordered and shipped to every member before the program begins.

This structure ensures fairness, flexibility, and a no-risk way to demonstrate your good-faith commitment and reserve your place in the program.

BLUF: "If we don’t pick you, you get $104 back, no questions asked."

If you are not selected for the Gemini Program:

• Your $96 bond will be refunded in full, plus a $5 token of appreciation for your application, for a total of $104.
• Refunds will be processed promptly after the selection process is complete, typically within 5 business days of notification.

This ensures fairness while keeping you engaged in opportunities to join or benefit from our programs in the future.

BLUF: "If you quit, flake, or break the rules, you forfeit it, and we use it to cover our expenses and the team you let down. No exceptions, no refunds."

If you’re selected for the Apollo Program:

• Accountability is Key: The bond reflects your commitment to the program. If you quit before completing 8 weeks, fail to meet your responsibilities, or violate the code of conduct, your bond will be forfeited. That bond will then be credited toward the cost of the Tough Mudder event for other team members who you let down. This ensures accountability to the program and fairness to other participants, without any benefit to the cashflow of F4F or L&S.

BLUF: "At any time after 8 weeks, you can depart the program with your bond refunded—but anybody who makes it that far will have detoxed from quitting, anyway."

BLUF: "If you are eligible and there are open spots, Gemini members will be offered those spots before they are opened-up to the public. AND, every dollar you have paid as a Gemini member will be credited toward your Apollo Program bond."
